The Lessons we learn from the Elements & Nature

INTRODUCTION:

Here you will find philosophy and meditations that draw lessons from the Elements and from Nature.

Elemental philosophy is hundreds of years old. These philosophies are ancient, and are non-religious. They are simply 'there' - wisdom that is available to those who wish to make use of it, nothing more...

Elemental philosophy and teachings originate in ancient Aryan and Vedic writings, and can later be found in Chinese texts. Most philosophies from the east are interlinked, with much common ground. However, as the Vedic writings are the most ancient, we will honor them as the source material for these teachings.

I have said before that the philosophies below are non-religious. And so they are. They are simply the product of centuries of wisdom distilled, and can help you see beyond (and move beyond) difficult situations that you might come upon in the course of your daily life.

"We sincerely hope that some of this will help people out there. Live well, my friends, and prosper."

The Elements:

The ancients believed that the cosmos was based on four basic 'elements'..

  • Air

  • Fire

  • Water

  • Earth

...and that deep lessons could be drawn from each. Here, in this section, are those lessons...
