Some advice on Interacting with others, and on personal grooming...

A FEW FINAL WORDS OF ADVICE..
In this last section we will focus on how you dress, and on personal relationships in your life...
First, in matters of dress, it is important to be clean, neat, well groomed
and to dress as aesthetically as you are able to. I don't mean that you
should go overboard in matters of dress, or spend too much time on your personal
grooming. But it takes very little effort to make oneself presentable, to
be clean and neat, and to dress in a way that is reasonably attractive.
The second point I would like to make is about personal relationships - be polite, civilized and honest in your dealings with others. Keep your promises.
Be an individual that the people around you can rely upon and trust. I am NOT advising you to let people take advantage of you or to allow them to make unfair demands on your time - By all means say no if someone asks you to do something that you don't really want to do. But make sure your refusal is polite, with a decent (and firm) explanation. Being polite doesn't mean you shouldn't 'push back' if someone tries to take advantage of your politeness. But it DOES mean that you should be as polite, decent and civilized as you can, as a general rule.
Honesty is another important aspect of a great personality. Remember the old adage 'You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time'? - Well, it holds true, and is worth considering.
Keep your relations with other people simple, direct and
honest, and you'll find that not only do the people around you appreciate it,
but that your own life is made simpler and more stress free as well.
Lastly, I'll just touch upon an ancient, but still valid truth..
'Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.'
- This simple line is worth mentioning here, because it's by far the simplest and most successful rule possible according to which to live your life!! And you'll find that when you treat others with the same regard and consideration and respect that you'd like for yourself, that they truly appreciate it and genuinely like you for it.
"And being liked, respected and admired are all aspects of a successful personality, wouldn't you say?"
