The Iron Knife (Thumbs) to eyes

Self Defense Training - Part Four:
Learning to use Unarmed Combat to deal with a Hostile Situation
A section on unarmed combat is an integral part of any self defense or martial arts instruction course. We concentrated on teaching you the use of concealed weapons first because we wished to give you the maximum effectiveness in a minimum of time. The unarmed combat moves that you will learn now are from several martial arts and have been included in this self defense instruction course for times when you have to defend yourself without a weapon. Strike 4: The Iron Knife (Thumbs) to eyes:
This is a brutally effective move. It is generally used in close quarter combat, when you are grappling with a foe, or when you are in such close quarters that you cannot swing your Yawara properly.
However, follow and trust your instincts - if you 'feel' you should use a certain move at a certain time, do it.
This is how the Iron Knife to the eyes is executed:
Grip the attacker on each side of his face with your fingers. Now dig your bent thumbs in just beneath the eyeball and just above the bone of the eye socket. Dig your thumbs in and then straighten them. The effect of this move, if done correctly, is to pop the enemy's eyes out of their sockets. Do this for both his eyes at the same time, one with each hand.

Take a look at the image showing the target area for this move, below...

The blue area shows the target area for this move - the target is the point just ABOVE the edge of the eye-socket, and just BELOW the eyeball.
This will probably not cause him to lose his sight if he gets immediate medical attention (the doctors will put the eyes back) - however, he CANNOT fight on after this attack, if it is done effectively, it is just humanly impossible. Use this move with prudence, only in situations where it is called for.
Practice this technique a few times at least twice a week.
