Cut down on watching Television

Cutting down on the amount of television you watch can greatly benefit your weight loss program.
Yes, I know television forms an important part of most civilized cultures - yet, in reality, television encourages a most unhealthy lifestyle. It encourages you to remain still for hours on end, limits your movement (and thus your 'fuel burn') and thus is a drag on any weight loss program...
Cut watching television to between one to two hours a day, you really shouldn't watch more than that - your body becomes 'used' to being inactive for hours, and then RESISTS activity when you try to exercise. I'm not saying remove T.V. from your life altogether, but cut it down to the minimum, or just one or two interesting shows or whatever.
