  A Healthy Lifestyle can greatly benefit your weight loss program. Here you will learn simple ways to burn more energy 'naturally', resulting in a far more healthy lifestyle. Living a healthy lifestyle can result in better family fitness as well.. especially when younger children unconsciously emulate the habits of their parents. In any case, a healthy lifestyle is an important and crucial addition to any weight loss program.

Start out by increasing your OVERALL activity...

  "You know how some 'naturally thin' people seem to stay thin no matter how much they eat, and how little they seem to exercise?"

Well, that's because they are burning off their intake in 'less visible' ways - for example, by fidgeting!!

  So, increase the amount you move about. Don't be a stationary object, move around a lot. If you're thinking, pace up and down. If any place you have to get to is within reasonable walking distance, walk there briskly, don't take a bus or a cab. Whenever possible, take the stairs up the first five stories of a building, before you even consider the elevator. If you're at home, rake out the garden, fix things around the house, help clean up - be as active as possible. Seek opportunities to exercise in any way you can!

  And enjoy your exercise! If you're raking out the garden, stop to look at a bird or squirrel, or feel the sun or the caress of a soft wind.

  "If you choose to walk somewhere, take in the scenery as you walk there, look at the people, peek in the shop windows, stop to admire a beautiful tree or the singing of a bird."

  Get yourself a comfortable pair of walking shoes - if your feet are going to take you places, make sure they are comfortable.

  Make being an active, energetic person your LIFESTYLE, and you'll find that it makes you a slimmer, happier and healthier YOU.
