A timeless question..

What is greatness? Is it achievement - or fame? The things one has done, or left undone? Can it be so simple?

Is greatness the desire to create - to create beauty, and to discover new knowledge - is this greatness? Perhaps.

Or perhaps true greatness is simply having the courage to dream one's own personal dream - perhaps an impossible one that one shall never attain - but still a dream dreamed with courage, and a dream that one attempts to bring to reality, no matter how likely one is to fail.

So greatness is in the striving, in the trying, in the daring to try... greatness does not lie in victory or defeat, it does not lie in achievement, it does not lie in wealth or fame or power. It lies in following your heart, in daring to fight your own personal battle, in striving to bring your own personal dream to life.

And it doesn't matter whether your succeed or fail - what matters is that you looked the cosmos in the eye when it said to you, 'you can't' - and your gaze did not falter!!
